Insect Shield uses a man-made version of a natural repellent found in certain types of chrysanthemum flowers.  It will help protect against a variety of bugs including those that can carry dangerous diseases such as Lyme disease and West Nile virus.

It will last up to 70 washes (average life of a garment).

Use of Insect Shield products by children of all ages and pregnant women is consistent with the EPA registrations of both Insect Shield apparel and gear.
